Chickpea Curry

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1/2 glass water
Instructions

Prevent the screen from locking

Add oil to a pot. Once the oil is hot, add diced onion, cook until translucent. Add crushed ginger, crushed garlic, red chilli powder, turmeric, cumin, chilli flakes, salt, pepper and cook for 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and stir. Add chickpeas and water. Simmer for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
